Looking for OPTIMAL HEALTH? You need to get to the ROOT cause- Introducing Rooted Wellness

Reader

Most of us desire to live a life of OPTIMAL HEALTH. For many of us, this is a struggle. We are dealing obesity and weight issues, anxiety, increased stress, poor sleep, and the trifecta: high blood pressure, high cholesterol, and diabetes.

There are many reasons why we struggle reaching our OPTIMAL HEALTH. Here are just a few:

Lack of Awareness: You may not be aware of your unhealthy habits. You may not be aware of the cause-effect relationship your unhealthy habits have to your health. For example, having difficulty loosing weight may be because of too much of a calorie deficit in your diet. (you may be cutting your calories too much)

Lack of motivation: You may not have the motivation or willpower to make changes. You are aware there are areas you can improve, but just cannot get started. You feel overwhelmed. You may not realize how much of an improvement you can have in your health for example just by getting a good restful sleep. Poor sleep effects your health in more ways then just feeling tired.

Habits: Repetitive behaviors can become automatic and hard to change. You may not recognize some of your habits since they have become second nature, something you just do without giving it much thought.

Lack of accountability: Attempting big lifestyle changes without much support from friends or family can make it very difficult to stick to your goals.

Let me introduce: Rooted Wellness-Let's get to the ROOT cause of your biggest health complaints.

I am excited to share of new opportunity to work 1:1 with me, Dr. Kristine Garverick CRNP.

My passion is Lifestyle Medicine. My focus is whole person health. In traditional medicine, we treat your symptoms. I want to help you get to the root cause.

Lifestyle medicine can address up to 80% of chronic diseases using therapeutic lifestyle interventions as a primary modality to manage chronic conditions including, but not limited to, cardiovascular diseases, type 2 diabetes, obesity, anxiety, insomnia, and perimenopausal symptoms. I apply evidence-based, whole-person, prescriptive lifestyle change to treat and, when used intensively, often reverse such conditions. Applying the six pillars of lifestyle medicine—a whole-food eating pattern, physical activity, restorative sleep, stress management, avoidance of risky substances and positive social connections—also provides effective prevention for these conditions.

Some patients are able to do this on their own,...
